Aligned with University President Dr. Frederick T. Villa's advocacy for Health and Wellness, and in compliance with CSC Memorandum Circular No. 05, s. 1996 and No. 04, s. 2020, the University Health Services, in collaboration with the HRMO - Faculty and Staff Development Program and the Gender and Development Office, along with support from the Faculty and Employees Club, Faculty Association, Employees Association, and the Institute of Human Kinetics, organized the 1st YES 4 SLSU Fitness Cup.
This activity aims to promote, inform, and educate participants on physical and mental health well-being. Scheduled over seven (7) Thursdays, from July 11 to August 22, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, activities will take place at the University Gymnasium, Covered Court, and Tennis Court.
Personnel together with the KALAHI-CIDSS beneficiaries from the main campus participated in the volleyball, basketball, badminton and Zumba activities organized by the UHS. It is expected that extension and satellite campuses to have parallel activities to be conducted in the coming weeks.
