The SLSU Gender and Development (GAD) Office has initiated a program to provide a nurturing space for the children of faculty, employees, and students, which allows recent mothers to attend university courses. This venue serves to foster the physical and psychological well-being of children aged 2-6 years old, alleviating concerns about their welfare while parents are at work or attending classes. This initiative is a collaboration with the Psychology, Nursing/Midwifery, and Elementary Education Departments, enhancing, practicing, and empowering their expertise in teaching and child care.
