Tree Planting Activity
As part of the activities required for graduating students, Southern Luzon State University’s Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), in coordination with the Mt. Banahaw Conservation and Protection Unit, organizes a vital initiative under the OSAS Social and Community Involvement Program. This program highlights the university’s commitment, fostering social responsibility and community engagement among its students.
By participating in these activities, students not only gain academic knowledge but also contribute positively to the conservation and protection efforts of Mt. Banahaw. This experience aims to instill a deeper appreciation for environmental stewardship and community service, preparing students to become proactive and socially conscious citizens after graduation.

Access to Quality Education
Southern Luzon State University, as a state university, is governed by RA 10931, also known as The Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act. This law establishes the framework for Free Higher Education and the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES), both of which strengthen the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UNIFAST).
SLSU’s Office of Student Affairs and Services on Student Scholarship and Financial Support collaborates with various organizations to provide essential support. This partnership ensures that financially disadvantaged students have the necessary resources to successfully complete their tertiary education, thus fostering educational equity and opportunity for all.
