The university offers different comprehensive and strategic services to students in making informed educational and occupational exploration and career planning aligned to CMO No. 9, Series of 2013 and AACCUP criteria in furtherance of Career Development Programs to assist undergrad students and graduating students with the awareness of present career opportunities available to them to have insights from the resources/guest speakers about career planning, career development and career mapping, keeping them abreast with the current trends, issues and demands in the workforce.
Job Placement and Internship Program
The university hosts job fair events which provide interactive meeting with the students and alumni as an undertaking that focuses on assisting in building their careers by providing up to date information about the available programs and services of SLSU Career and Job Placement Unit including the process of job application, selection and recruitment.

Southern Luzon State University – Guidance Counseling and Testing Center provides individualized counseling for personal, career, transfer, and all academic matters with emphasis on career counseling.
