The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recognized Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) as one of the trailblazers and a globally recognized Philippine Higher Education Institution (PHEI) during the ICONS Awards 2025 on December 10.
According to CHED, SLSU stood proudly among the nation’s exemplary champions shaping the future of Philippine higher education, securing a place in the 801-1000 bracket of the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025. This is the result of the university’s unwavering commitment to internationalization and sustainability.
CHED presented a Certificate of Commendation to SLSU to acknowledge its notable contributions to higher education and its efforts to align with the global standards.
