The College of Medicine of Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) will soon be accepting students for the Academic Year 2026-2027!
Application Period
The application period is expected to open on January 19, 2026 and will continue until May 29, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- • Natural-born Filipino citizen
- • General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 2.5, with no failing grade
- • Completion of at least a 3-unit course in each of the following:
- • Zoology (or any related subject)
- • Chemistry (or any related subject)
- • Research
- • NMAT score of 65 or higher
- • No record of dropping out from any medical school
- • Physically and mentally fit
Required Documents
Applicants should prepare both scanned and original copies of the following:
- • Transcript of Records (TOR)
- • National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) result
- • Parents’ proof of income
- • Certificate of Residency from the Barangay
- • Certificate of General Weighted Average (GWA) from the Registrar

The College’s instructional facilities are designed to support outcomes-based medical education and hands-on clinical training. These include an Anatomy Laboratory with cadaveric specimens, plastinated cadavers, and anatomical models, as well as laboratories equipped with complete Microbiology, Parasitology, Histology, and Pathology slides and microscopes.





All laboratories are furnished with adequate laboratory tables and housed in air-conditioned facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
In addition, the College maintains its own medical library with updated printed collections and access to electronic resources, including online journals, databases, and e-learning materials that support instruction, research, and evidence-based medical education.



The College has partnered with the Quezon Medical Center and East Avenue Medical Center to facilitate hands-on clinical training. As of December 2024, the College is also a member of the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges, Inc., the umbrella organization of all medical schools in the country.
The SLSU College of Medicine is located at SLSU Lucena, Brgy. Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City, Quezon, while the 6-storey building in Lucban, Quezon, is currently under construction.
