The Provincial Government of Quezon - Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office presented plaques of appreciation to the Southern Luzon State University in recognition of the efforts of the university in disaster risk reduction management.
The plaques of appreciation were granted to the University President, Dr. Frederick T. Villa, and to the Director of the Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, Assistant Prof. Vanessa S. Cadeliña on July 22.
The citation states that the Provincial Government of Quezon appreciates the commitment, efforts, and support of SLSU in the disaster resilience, preparedness, response initiatives, and rehabilitation and recovery in the province which have significantly strengthened the province’s capacity to protect the community.
