Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) met with the REINA Federation of Parents Association on August 15, 2024. The REINA Federation is one of SLSU’s partners in delivering community services to the areas of Real, Infanta, and General Nakar. During the meeting, they introduced their programs, including "Safe to Learn," which is geared toward children ages 0-24.
One of the projects discussed was “Eco-Scout,” aimed at teaching children to become environmental monitors. They plan to replicate this initiative in other parts of the country.
This meeting marks the start of creating programs and projects focused on nurseries, capacity building, counseling, Gender and Development (GAD), and livelihood.
