The College of Agriculture of the Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) proudly celebrates a major academic milestone as its Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BS Agriculture) program, which offers three specialized majors: Animal Science, Crop Science, and Organic Agriculture, has been Re-Accredited at Level IV Status by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) following the accreditation visitation held on August 25–27, 2025.
This prestigious recognition affirms the program’s commitment to academic excellence, research productivity, community extension, and international linkages. Level IV status represents the highest accreditation level conferred by AACCUP, signifying that the program has consistently demonstrated outstanding performance in instruction, research, extension, and institutional development.
Under the leadership of Dean Juanita T. San Jose, PhD, the College of Agriculture continues to serve as a dynamic hub for agricultural education and extension in Southern Luzon. Faculty members and stakeholders have worked collaboratively to uphold the university’s mission of producing competent, innovative, and socially responsible graduates who contribute meaningfully to rural development and national progress.
This Level IV Re-Accredited status not only elevates the reputation of SLSU’s College of Agriculture but also opens doors for expanded academic partnerships, research collaborations, and policy engagement. It stands as a testament to the university’s unwavering commitment to excellence, sustainability, and inclusive development in Philippine agriculture.
