Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of Agriculture and Fishery Resources Research and Extension for Development Network - CALABARZON (AFRREDN-CALABARZON) on September 18.
This agreement aims to strengthen initiatives in Agriculture and Fisheries Research for Development and Extension (AF R4DE), particularly in the region. In particular, the network’s members will convene to discuss emerging issues and concerns related to the R4DE system and recommend policy actions, among others.
The AFRREDN-CALABARZON is also joined by the Department of Agriculture, state universities, and provincial governments of the CALABARZON Region.
