SLSU remains on top in Nursing Licensure, to launch Master in Nursing Education

Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) solidified its reputation as one of the country’s top nursing schools, achieving a remarkable 100% passing rate in the May 2025 Nursing Licensure Examination.

All 77 examinees from SLSU passed the board exam, with three graduates securing positions in the Top 10. Leading the list of achievers is Angelica F. Dator, who ranked 1st with a score of 90%, followed by Arielle Sabrina A. Natividad in 3rd place (89.4%), and Coreen Nicole V. Benitez in 5th place (89%).

SLSU’s flawless performance in this year’s exam extends a three-year streak of excellence, having also been recognized as a top-performing school with a 100% passing rate and topnotchers in 2023 and 2024.

In recognition of its exceptional nursing program, SLSU is one of only 17 universities nationwide granted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) the authority to offer the One-Year Master in Nursing Education (MNE) Program. This new graduate program is tailored for licensed nurses seeking to enhance their academic and leadership capabilities in the healthcare sector.
