SLSU unveils 5 infra projects in Main Campus

Marking its 19th University Charter Day, Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) inaugurated five infrastructure projects in the Main Campus on March 16.

Among the enhancements made is the Phase II improvement of the Business Resource Center. Costing Php 897,100, the development allowed the Business Affairs Office (BAO) to centralized its services in one building. The project started on July 10, 2025 and was completed on August 7, 2025.

The Conference Room at the SLSU Office of the President was also blessed during the event. The Php 128,900 worth project began on December 26, 2025 and ended on January 26, 2026.

Also, comfort rooms in the Laboratory High School, and the following area under Lot 2, were inaugurated: Procurement Office, MIS-ICT Office, College of Engineering (CEn), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), and College of Allied Medicine (CAM). Both lots amount to Php 3,978,230.26.

Meanwhile, the project, “Relocation and Establishment of REPDI Huddle Room,” was completed on February 4, 2026. The project completion was made possible through the funding of the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD) under the program, “Improvement of the ICT Infrastructure of STAARRDEC and its Selected Member Institutions under the New Normal,” which aims to strengthen digital collaboration and smart workspaces in the university.

The establishment and improvement of facilities is a testament to the university’s aim to provide an environment for its students and employees.
