The exemplary implementation of Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) of the Project ISKOL (Involving Schools in Kindling Outreach for Life) was acknowledged by the Department of Health - Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) CALABARZON during the Regional Integrated Awarding Ceremony, December 10.
SLSU was commended for its efforts and outstanding performance in Project ISKOL, which surpassed program targets and established strong academic partnerships that strengthened voluntary, non-remunerated blood donation advocacy across the region.
Earlier, on March 26, through the initiative of the University Health Services (UHS) and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), SLSU earned 2nd place in the Gawad Dugong CALABARZON 2024 for Project ISKOL.
