Mentorship Programs
Accelerating Women’s Empowerment Mentoring Program
This initiative is dedicated to enhancing the knowledge and skills of female students across various disciplines through personalized mentoring. The program offers the unique opportunity to be guided by experts in their respective fields, providing both academic and professional growth.
In collaboration with SLSU’s international partner organizations, a series of mentoring sessions offer a global learning perspective, enriching the students’ experience even further. Through this program, we are committed to empowering women and supporting their journey towards success.
SLSU 3rd-Year Student Enrollment for 1st Semester, AY 2023–2024
Out of 1,681 third-year female students at Southern Luzon State University’s Main Campus for the first semester of AY 2023-2024, 432 are from the College of Administration, Business, Hospitality, and Accountancy (CABHA) and are participating in the Accelerating Women’s Empowerment Mentoring Program. This represents approximately 26% of the total participants, highlighting the significant involvement of CABHA students in the mentoring program initiative.
Scholarships
Students’ welfare is the top priority of the University that partnership with other organizations both government and non-government never faltered. These organizations provide financial assistance and scholarships that support and sustain the needs of the students at the University. A total of 1800 scholars and grantees enjoyed financial support from various partners. These students received certain amounts either as one-time grant, monthly, or per semester.
Workshops and Seminars
Baccalaureate and graduate students organized and embarked in activities that contribute to their holistic development. The co-curricular and extra curricular activities helped hone their knowledge and develop their social skills.
Additional Support Services
The SLSU Office of Student Affairs and Services, particularly the Guidance, Counseling and Testing Center, offers a set of services using an integrated approach to the development of well-functioning individuals primarily by helping them to utilize their potentials to the fullest.
