University officials participate in procurement seminar
President Dr. Frederick T. Villa and the officials of the Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) joined the first quarter seminar of the Philippine Association of Records Officers and Archivists (PAROA) and Government Procurement Policy Board – Technical Support Office (GPPB-TSO), “Navigating the New Procurement Landscape, RA No. 12009: AN OVERVIEW OF THE NEW GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT ACT,” held from February 11 to 13 at Malay, Aklan.
During the three days of the event, participants were given an overview of the recently passed procurement law, the main laws and procedures under Republic Act No. 12009, and the modifications to improve the current procurement system.
