In a significant move towards academic collaboration and research excellence, Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) and Dalubhasaan sa Lungsod (DLL) ng Lucena signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on April 16, 2024 at SLSU, Lucban, Quezon. The MOU signing, marked by enthusiasm and optimism, gathered key officials and delegates from both institutions.
The signatories representing SLSU included President Frederick T. Villa, Vice President for Research, Extension, Production, Development, and Innovation Dr. Marissa C. Esperal, ORS Director Dr. Nicanor L. Guinto, and University Librarian Ms. Noreen Rairata. On the DLL side, President Maria Charmaine V. Lagustan and Research Director Florian E. Manzanilla, Ph.D., were present.
The core objective of the collaboration is to share intellectual and research resources, fostering a conducive environment for multidisciplinary research, innovation, and academic excellence. During the ceremony, Dr. Esperal extended a warm welcome, setting the tone for the event.
