Facilitates exploring collaboration with Grameen Foundation

The Office of International and Alumni Affairs (OIAA) facilitated the meeting with Grameen Foundation, on February 3, 2023, in exploring the projects for the College of Agriculture’s extension program, specifically in the coconut sector, which can be implemented in the possible collaboration with the organization. Included in the proposed projects are the coordination with J Em J to provide trainings to its coconut farmers, and SLSU being a partner and a host of Grameen foundation in exploring other agricultural areas that needs provement. Present in the said meeting are the SLSU President Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, Vice President for Research, Extension, Production, Development, and Innovation (REPDI) Dr. Marissa C. Esperal, Dean of College of Agriculture Dr. Juanita San Jose, OIAA Director Dr. Joanna Pual E. Verano and Staff, GAD staff: and the Delegates from Grameen: Country Director Ms. Judith Agnoletto, Ms. Christine Violago, and Mr. Michael Pascual.
