OIAA coordinates with GAD and Catalyste+, Canada for the upcoming projects in 2023

On January 26, 2023, the Office of International and Alumni Affairs, lead by Director Dr. Joanna Paula E. Verano, arranged a meeting with Catalyste+, Canada to discuss the proposed projects for the year 2023. Attended by Gender and Development Office Head Dr. Leomar C. Miano, Catalyste+ Country Representative – Philippines Mr. Matt Navalta, Catalyste+ Project Officers – Mr. Erwin Altamarino and Mr. Hermie. Mr. Navalta received a Certificate of Appreciation in grateful recognition for the unending support of Catalyste+ to Southern Luzon State University’s project and programs towards achieving the goal of providing a quality education. The discussion on the successful implementation of the business mentoring sessions had brought the opportunity of replicating the programs for the academic year 2023-2024. The faculty of the College of Administration, Business, Hospitality and Accountancy (CABHA) will be part of the capability enhancement undertaking. On the other hand, the business students of CABHA and Graduate School will be subject to the “Empowering Business Students through Mentoring – Part 3” anchored on the Catalyste+ program on Accelerating Women Empowerment.
