Children`s Month Celebration

DECEMBER 10, 2022

The Gender and Development Office conducted a Children’s Month Celebration last December 10, 2022 at the SLSU Kiddie Fun Place and Covered Court.

The activity was attended by the children of SLSU personnel and children from DSWD Lucban. The students of the Psychology Department facilitated the program. They conducted different games, storytelling and other fun activities for the children. Prof. Michelle Ramirez also conducted a Mental Health Awareness Workshop wherein she gave different activities for the children.

Quiz Bee Competition

How Well Do You Know Her? | March 28, 2023

The Gender and Development Office Conducted a Quiz Bee Competition entitled “How Well Do You Know Her?” last March 287, 2023 at SLSU CEN AVR.

Eight teams from campuses and colleges joined the said competition: SLSU Tiaong, SLSU Tagkawayan, SLSU Catanauan, College of Administration, Business, Hospitality, and Accountancy (CABHA), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Teacher Education (CTE), College of Allied Medicine (CAM), and College of Industrial Technology (CIT).

The battle of wits circled in knowing the important women in different areas in politics, science and technology, history, and literature. The top 3 teams that garnered the highest points are CAS, SLSU Tianong, and CTE.

The 3rd placer, with a total score of 16 is from the College of Arts and Sciences. The team was composed of Christian Aui Saluta, April Cecillano, and Wencydel Arpon.

The 2nd placer, with a total score of 17 points is from SLSU Tiaong. The team is composed of Aila Marie Prialde, Kathleen Aguila, and Hazel Joy Amortizado.

The 1st Placer, with a total score of 19 points is from the College of Teacher Education. The team is composed of Daniel Merjudio, Lionel Batarlo, and Claire Jane Sante.
