The Forest Rangers of Southern Luzon State University's Mt. Banahaw Forest Protection and Conservation Unit (MBFPCU), in collaboration with the Backers Organization and Tayabas Mountaineering, successfully transplanted over 200 wildings of Yakal Kaliot and Syzygium, October 5 to 6.
This joint effort is part of ongoing conservation initiatives to preserve the biodiversity of Mt. Banahaw and promote the regeneration of its native tree species. Through these collective actions, SLSU reaffirms its commitment to environmental sustainability and the protection of the region’s natural resources.
