Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) continues its push toward achieving SUC Level IV status as Planning Office (PO) Director Jed Frank Marqueses spearheaded a meeting with offices under the Vice President for Research, Extension, Production, Development, and Innovation (REPDI) for a strategic alignment session on December 9.
The meeting focused on updates regarding SUC Leveling and aligning the targets of the Office of Research Services, Office of Extension Services, Office of Production Services, and the Innovation and Technology Support Services Office with the requirements for leveling.
Discussions included accomplishments for FY 2024 and the elaboration of physical targets for FY 2025, ensuring their Office Performance Commitment Review (OPCR) aligns with SUC leveling metrics and the university’s Strategic Development Plan for 2025–2030.
SLSU President Dr. Frederick T. Villa, Vice President for REPDI Dr. Marissa C. Esperal, and Officers-in-Charge Dr. Arvin N. Natividad (Administrative and Financial Affairs) and Dr. Dhenalyn A. Dejelo (Academic Affairs) were in attendance.
The SLSU PO plans to convene other key offices for similar alignment sessions before the end of the year, further cementing the University’s commitment to achieving excellence and meeting its institutional goals.
