To enhance its system for delivering fast, efficient, and transparent public service, the Supply and Property Office of Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) recently organized a benchmarking visit to the University of the Philippines Diliman's Supply and Property Management Office (UPD SPMO), September 11.

The SLSU delegation, led by Dr. Arvin N. Natividad, Officer-in-Charge in the Office of the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, includes key personnel from the Supply and Property Office: Victor V. Villon, Mark Jeffrey Mabalot, Prescilla A. Suarez, Lysander Y. Flavier, MJ Francisco, Froilan Virnard Alcoreza, and Mel Gibson Yerro. They were warmly welcomed by Atty. Rachel A. Locsin, Director of UPD SPMO, along with the Supervising Administrative Officer Cenon D. Esguerra and Administrative Officer I Dymphna Cruz.

The insights and best practices gained from this visit will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement within SLSUโ€™s supply and property management processes, aligning them with the highest standards of public service.

UPD SPMO is recognized for its best practices, particularly its Common-Use Supplies and Equipment (CSE) Portal and Property Accountability Records and Disposal System (PARDS) Portal, both of which have been acknowledged as Government Best Practices by the Development Academy of the Philippines in 2021 and 2023, respectively.
