Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) proudly joins the ranks of distinguished institutions recognized with the Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) Awards by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), April 2.
The EQUATE Award acknowledges higher education institutions that exhibit unwavering commitment to national education development goals. Specifically, the two awards recognize SLSU’s outstanding efforts in delivering pre-service teacher education programs, both at the elementary and secondary level while upholding the highest standards of quality assurance.
Representing SLSU President Dr. Frederick T. Villa at the event, Dr. Dhenalyn Aquino-Dejelo, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Vanessa C. Zubieta, Dean of the College of Teacher Education, proudly received the award. The recognition was conferred during an awarding ceremony at the Manila Hotel, located at 1 Rizal Park, Ermita, Manila.
This accolade underscores SLSU’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of its academic programs, shape exceptional educators, and contribute to the development of the nation’s education sector.
