Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation by the REINA Federation of Parent’s Association during their Social Emotional Learning Forum and Education Summit on June 25, 2024, held at Nawawalang Paraiso Hotel in Tayabas City, Quezon.
The award recognizes the university’s support for the REINA Federation’s SAFE To Learn Program, in collaboration with ChildFund Philippines, particularly in the areas of Gender and Development (GAD) advocacy and capability-building activities. Ms. Arceli R. Obmerga, staff member of the Office of Extension Services, delivered an inspirational message from Dr. Frederick T. Villa, President of SLSU.
President Villa affirmed the university’s commitment to the partnership, emphasizing ongoing innovation and improvement of educational services and the enhancement of capacities and socioeconomic tools in the REINA area.
