On June 17, Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) formally signed a healthcare agreement with IMS Wellth Care Inc., marking a significant step in strengthening the university’s commitment to faculty and employee welfare.
The agreement highlights SLSU’s proactive approach to ensuring that its employees have access to reliable and comprehensive HMO services. IMS Wellth Care Inc., recognized for its innovative healthcare solutions, pledged to provide coverage tailored to the diverse needs of the university community. During the ceremony, both parties emphasized the importance of prioritizing employee health as a cornerstone of institutional growth, productivity, and overall well-being.
This one-year partnership is expected to deliver benefits, including improved healthcare accessibility, financial protection through HMO benefits, and stronger collaboration between the education and healthcare sectors. On the part of SLSU, the event was represented by the Committee for Procurement of Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), chaired by Dr. Erwin D. Villaverde, together with other committee members: the Faculty Association President, Prof. Gino A. Cabrera; Employees Association President, Ms. Emma O. Reyes; Faculty and Employees Club President, Dr. Noreen P. Echague; and Accounting Office Director, Dr. Catherine L. Guia. Meanwhile, the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Arvin N. Natividad, served as a witness to the proceedings.
