To capacitates the youths of Alabat, Quezon, SLSU Alabat Campus proposes the project titled “Navigating the Digital Age: Cybersecurity, Social Media Safety and Information Technology Trends.” The project intends to teach and spread awareness to youths in Quezon through seminar-workshop.
This course will provide invaluable knowledge that is essential in their day-to-day online navigation, and will impact on how they make decisions and handle their digital information. The seminar-workshop is conducted on December 1, 2023 at SLSU Alabat Covered Court facilitated by Mr. Roberto L. Sulit and Ms. Anna Margaretter A. Tero, faculty of SLSU Alabat.
Moreover, Mr. Karl Louis B. Puno and Mr. Manuel S. Valderama serves as presenters/lecturer for the event. Mr. Puno, discusses cybersecurity, social media safety, and privacy issue, while Mr. Valderanama discusses Information Technology Trend, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics Technology and Internet of Things. A total of 105 youths from 19 barangays of Alabat, Quezon participated in this activity. They participate in the open forum and hand-on activity.
