SLSU delegation arrives at Palawan State University for STRASUC Olympics 2024

The Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) delegation, consisting of 119 student-athletes, has arrived at Palawan State University to compete in the Southern Tagalog Regional Association of State Universities and Colleges (STRASUC) Olympics 2024, ready to participate in 14 different sports categories including Arnis, Archery, Athletics, Badminton, 3x3 Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Chess, Taekwondo, Karatedo, Dance Sports, Sepak Takraw, Swimming, Billiards, Lawn Tennis, and Table Tennis.

The athletes are accompanied by 39 coaches and committee members, ensuring they receive the best guidance and support throughout the competition. Also joining the delegation is the documentation team from The Kingfisher, SLSU’s official student publication, capturing key moments of the event.

In a strong show of support, SLSU President Dr. Frederick T. Villa attended the opening ceremony alongside the delegates. His presence highlights the university’s commitment to promoting student development, encouraging athletes to excel not only in sports but also in building discipline, teamwork, and leadership—skills that are vital for their future success.
