Team Julibees, composed of Alyssa Mae G. Estrada, Josep Anthony S. Palad, and Ghislain Reden Z. Oba, Computer Engineering (CpE) students from Southern Luzon State University (SLSU), claimed the 1st runner-up spot in the Philippine Startup Challenge 9 Regional Pitching Competition (CALABARZON) held on October 21.
Mentored by SLSU College of Engineering – CpE Chairperson, Engr. Julie Ann Susa-Gili, the team impressed the judges with a startup concept focused on creating innovative solutions to address local community challenges.
The event, organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region IV-A, brought together talented students from different universities to present their groundbreaking ideas. The competition took place at the Cultural Center of Lipa, Batangas, and highlighted the creativity and entrepreneurial drive of the region’s future innovators.
