The teaching and non-teaching personnel of the Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) underwent training on capacity training and strategic foresight entitled Futures Thinking: A Seminar-Workshop on Value Creation, conducted on Sept. 27–28, 2023.
Through the support of Hon. Pia S. Cayetano, 71 administrative officers, and faculty members from different campuses attended the training. Mr. Emmanuel De Guia and Ms. Jalaine Joyce V. Malabanan served as resource persons in instilling a forward-thinking mindset and exploring methodologies in anticipation of future trends.
Aside from the Futures Thinking Program, Hon. Cayetano also facilitated the additional funding for the establishment and/or support of the SLSU College of Medicine.
