Southern Luzon State University's Reserve Officers' Training Corps (SLSU ROTC) secured a remarkable 2nd place finish in the recent Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI), showcasing its dedication to excellence in training and operations.
Dr. Frederick T. Villa proudly accepted the award on behalf of SLSU ROTC during the 4th Regional Community Defense Group (4RCDG) Stakeholders Recognition and Awarding Ceremony held at Camp General Macario Sakay in Los Baños, Laguna. The ceremony, which is also a part of their 29th founding anniversary celebration, highlighted the exemplary performance of ROTC units across CALABARZON.
RAATI is a yearly event designed to rigorously evaluate the administrative efficiency, training management, and proficiency of Army ROTC units. The inspection plays a critical role in assessing the quality of training the Corps of Cadets receives, while also examining the support provided by universities and the proper utilization of ROTC funds.
This recognition is not only a testament to the hard work and discipline of the SLSU ROTC cadets, under the guidance of National Service Training Program Director Dr. Nilo H. Dator, but also underscores the university’s commitment to fostering excellence in leadership and service.
