Quezon Governor, Dr. Angelina “Helen” D.L. Tan provided two televisions, and ten sphygmomanometers or BP apparatus to the SLSU College of Medicine (COM) on March 25.
Gov. Tan visited COM at SLSU Lucena to turnover one each of 75” and 65” television, and ten sets of BP apparatus to help aid the students of the college. In a live video, she encouraged the faculty and employees of the college to state what she could do to help the medical students, particularly in terms of equipment.
During the event, Gov. Tan also had a chance to meet the first batch of students in the Doctor of Medicine program.
