The Quezon I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (QUEZELCO I), represented by its General Manager, Victor R. Cada, and officials of the Southern Luzon State University (SLSU), led by OIC President Dr. Nilo H. Dator, conducted a meeting on Oct. 27, 2023, at the office of QUEZELCO I, Pitogo, Quezon, for the status of the SLSU Catanauan transformer application.
Mr. Cada showed his support for the fast-tracking of the new connection application as long as the campus can comply with the requirements of QUEZELCO. SLSU Catanauan OIC director, Prof. Cerfred Alcantara, together with the director of the Planning and Development Office (PDO)—Infrastructure, Engr. Melvin A. Makipagay will work together to ensure that the documentary requirements will be completed and submitted soon.
Meanwhile, once the application is approved, the students of SLSU Catanauan will be transferred to the new site.
