Southern Luzon State University actively participated in the "2024 Institute of Environmental Governance Training of Trainers cum Annual Meeting and Natural Resource Management Module Enhancement." The event took place from February 19 to 22 at CLSU, City of Muรฑoz, Nueva Ecija.
The primary objective of the four-day activity was to equip the participants with comprehensive knowledge of environmental law and governance. Moreover, the gathering aimed to enhance and update modules related to Natural Resource Management, crucial components used in training local government units.
Prof. Eraldwin A. Dimailig, Dr. Cherry C. Favor, Prof. Sarah Dane B. Lising, Ms. Manilyn G. Zubieta, and Ms. Arceli R. Obmerga, represent Southern Luzon State University as the trainers for forestry, fishery, enterprise, and marketing. They will serve as a team of resource speakers from SLSU for the upcoming series of capacity-building activities and mentoring sessions for the collaborative EJSRP 3 Project of SLSU and TK.
The training was attended by IEG Centers and SUCs around the country.
