In line with Southern Luzon State University’s commitment to digital transformation, the MIS-ICT Office spearheaded an online presentation and walkthrough of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) on February 5.
In partnership with Caraga State University (CarSU), Mr. Dave Anthony Asis, head of the MIS Office at CarSU led the session. Mr. Francis Ervin F. Pasumbal, head of SLSU MIS-ICT, and his team at SLSU explored how HRMS can streamline and accelerate the university’s payroll process.
Key discussions included (1) automated attendance tracking—a digital timing in/out for accurate work hour recording, (2) seamless payroll computation—covers various employment types, including job orders (JOs), contract of service instructors (COSIs), and permanent staff, and (3) real-time payslip access—where employees can instantly view their payslips once payroll is processed.
This initiative marks a significant step toward efficiency, transparency, and modernization in SLSU’s human resource and payroll system. Stay tuned for more updates on our digital transformation journey!
