The achievements of the College of Allied Medicine (CAM) of the Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) earned a commendation from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lucban, Quezon, June 1.
LGU Lucban, under Kapasiyan Blg. 172-2026 and 171-2026, respectively, acknowledged the college for ranking second among the top-performing schools in the November 2025 Midwifery Licensure Examination and in the February 2026 Nurse Licensure Examination.
Likewise, through Resolution No. 191-2026, it congratulated CAM’s BS Midwifery for earning accreditation recognition from the International Association for Allied Health Education (IAAHEH), making SLSU the first university in the Philippines to receive such a distinction.
These acknowledgements were given as a testament that SLSU provides exceptional quality education and, therefore, shines a spotlight on the Municipality of Lucban, where the Main Campus is located.
