CGO Tayabas donates 2-Storey Academic Building to SLSU

In a significant move to shore up educational infrastructure and enhancing the quality of education in the region, the City Government of (CGO) Tayabas has officially turned over a newly constructed 2-storey academic building to Southern Luzon State University (SLSU), October 30.

The new building, valued at nearly PhP 16 million, is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to provide a conducive learning environment for students. The building includes modern classrooms, laboratories, and faculty offices, all intended to support the university’s commitment to academic excellence.

Mayor Maria Lourdes “Lovely” Reynoso-Pontioso, who led the turnover ceremony, highlighted the importance of investing in education for the future of the community.

The turnover ceremony was attended by key officials from the city government, SLSU administrators, faculty members, students, and community stakeholders. The event featured a symbolic key handover, ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a guided tour of the new facility.
