The Extension Services of Cavite State University (CvSU) visited Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) on June 5 to benchmark its best practices in extension services and community engagement.
Led by Dr. Racquel G. Agustin, Director of CvSU’s Extension Services, the delegation was welcomed by Dr. Marissa C. Esperal, SLSU Vice President for Research, Extension, Production, Development, and Innovation. Dr. Felino J. Gutierrez, Jr., Director of SLSU’s Office of Extension Services, introduced the university’s extension services, while Ms. Jaquelyn D. Merjudio, technical staff member, presented SLSU’s community engagement initiatives, key accomplishments, and monitoring strategies to ensure impactful extension projects.
The activity concluded with a collaborative discussion between the two institutions, led by Dr. Gutierrez and Dr. Agustin, fostering knowledge exchange and potential partnerships in extension services.
