On March 7, 2024, Tanggol Kalikasan, a collaborative partner of SLSU, extended their courtesy to the newly appointed president, Dr. Frederick T. Villa.
During the meeting, TK presented the progress of the ongoing project, Environmental Justice Sector Reform Program Phase 3, to President Villa. They highlighted the achievements of the project up to the current date, along with an account of the history of the IEG. The IEG was established in SLSU two decades ago, in 2004.

In attendance during the visit were Dr. Marissa C. Esperal, SLSU’s Vice President for Research, Extension, Production, Development, and Innovation, Engr. Lourdes Quevada, a member of the IEG Management Committee, Atty. Ma. Ronely Bisquera-Sheen, Managing Director of TK, and staff from the SLSU Office of Extension Services and Tanggol Kalikasan.
