Congressman Keith Micah “Atty. Mike” D.L. Tan pledged his assistance towards the planned campus projects of the Southern Luzon State Univeristy (SLSU) during the courtesy visit of the university officials on May 13, 2024.
The University President, Dr. Frederick T. Villa, along with the officials of the university, Dr. Arvin N. Natividad, OIC-Director for Campus Operation; Engr. Melvin A. Makipagay, Co-Director of Planning and Development Office; Prof. Cerfred A. Alcantara, Campus Director-SLSU Catanauan Campus; and Roberto Dalamacion, Admin Aide I, conducted a courtesy visit to the office of Cong. Tan. Throughout the meeting, Cong. Tan expressed his support to the project of the university including (1) the construction of a three-storey typhoon resilient academic building for the island campuses, (2) construction of an Academic Building for SLSU- JGE Tagkawayan Campuses, and (3) the Development of the Library Holdings of Alabat and Gumaca Campuses. Cong. Tan also declared his support for the conversion of the extension campuses into regular campuses.
This assistance will enable SLSU to continue providing exceptional education to its students. The SLSU community is thankful for your constant support, Cong. Tan! Also, thank you for the support of Governor Angelina “Helen” Tan, and all the members of the Administrative Council and staff.
