CTE’s outstanding licensure performance praised by PRC, Provincial Government, and Lucban LGU

The exemplary licensure performance of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) was recognized by the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC), Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers, Office of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, and the Sangguniang Bayan ng Lucban.

These institutions highlighted CTE’s outstanding passing rate of 92.69% in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) – Secondary Level, emerging as fourth in the list of top-performing schools.

Aside from this, four topped the Elementary Level. From SLSU Main Campus: Michelle Indicio Velasco as Top 3, Jana Marie Permejo Agarin as Top 6, and Ma. Cecilia Gamboa Teoxon as Top 8. Meanwhile, Aila Marie Manalo Prialde of SLSU Tiaong ranked fifth in the same category.

Likewise, Jay Russel Llego Cueto from SLSU Main Campus placed Top 9 in the Secondary Level.

Moreover, the campuses of Catanauan, Infanta, JGE Tagkawayan, Lucena, Polillo, and Tiaong exceeded the national average passing rate of the licensure examination.

These acknowledgements are testament to the quality of education the university offers to its students, regardless of campus.
