Dr. Frederick T. Villa, the then VP for Administrative and Financial Affairs assumes the position of the Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) President on March 1, 2024. He was welcomed by the SLSU community on March 4, 2024, headed by the then oic-president, Dr. Nilo H. Dator. Dr. Villa is the 9th president of the university, succeeding Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes.
